Karylle had this funny remark about “ex”
It’s Showtime host Karylle, fondly called K in the entertainment industry, had this “hirit” about “ex-partner.”
The singer-actress and her husband, Spongecola vocalist Yael Yuzon, guested on Showtime Online U, the online segment of the Kapamilya noontime show, just recently.
In that episode, K shared that many netizens have been using the Spongcola song Kay Tagal Kitang Hinihintay as background music in their TikTok videos.
“Natuwa kami na do’n sa TikTok, ang daming gumagamit ng line na ‘nagkita rin ang ating landas.’ Pero ‘pag nakita na naman nila ang ex, ba’t ba ang hilig n’yo sa mga ex-ex na ‘yan?” Karylle shared.
The singer-actress said that it is because she does not know whether the posts were true or not.
K said, “Kasi minsan—hindi ko alam kung joke-joke—’yong pari nakita mo ‘yong ex mo pero ikaw [magkakasal] sa kanila. […] Mga gano’n ‘yong mga atake nila.”
Yael said that it is because the world is small and the Philippines is still relatively small, even though there are a lot of islands. He pointed out that stories of people are interwoven or intersected over and over again.
Yael also said that it is a good thing that you should be on good terms with your ex-partner as much as possible to avoid the awkwardness.
