Kiko Pangilinan returns to Senate
Senator Kiko Pangilinan has this message to his bashers after his win in the 2025 elections.
Kiko is one of the most prominent political figures in the Philippines. He has already served several terms as a senator. After taking a break since he lost in the 2022 elections when he ran for vice president.
Kiko was the running mate of former Vice President Leni Robredo. Unfortunately for them, their opponents are President Bongbong Marcos and Vice President Sara Duterte, won.
For the 2025 midterm elections, Kiko Pangilinan decided to run again, and he achieved victory. During the campaign period, the husband of Megastar Sharon Cunet was a subject of memes and negative posts on social media.
Some bashers would even share his edited photos and videos to convince other people not to vote for him. However, Kiko was voted by the majority of the voters as he was hailed second among the top 12 with 20.97 million votes.
In a recent interview with entertainment writer Dolly Anne Carvajal of The Philippine Star, the Senator was asked what his message was to his bashers. The politician only had two words for his critics. “We won!” Kiko said.
The politician was also asked about the fitness journey of his wife. He said that he told Sharon to take care of herself and not to overdo her fitness routine.
When it comes to the Megastar’s fit body, the Senator said that this is proof of her dedication, hard work, and discipline.
Kiko Pangilinan was also asked about his nephew, actor Donny Pangilinan. The politician said that the actor was his first intern on the farm with three other cousins in 2012. “He did agri farming work for five days as an intern. He is my inaanak sa binyag. He was super likot when he was a kid,” Kiko shared.
Being a senator again, Kiko said that he will use his more than 20 years of experience in public service “to find long-lasting solutions to the problem of high food prices, of hunger and agriculture underdevelopment.”
