Are Catriona Gray and Moira dela Torre have an issue?
This video of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray went viral just recently as she was seen apparently snubbing singer Moira dela Torre.
The video was taken during a promotion event in which Catriona and Moira were among the ambassadors. In the video, when Catriona was called and she went up on stage, she greeted two male personalities on stage but she apparently just ignored Moira.
The beauty queen, on the other hand, acknowledged Diamond Star Maricel Soriano who was beside Moira by touching her shoulder.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube showbiz talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, he talked about the alleged reason why Catriona did not greet Moira.
He said that according to his source, Moira was 2 hours late at that event and made other endorsers wait for her. “Totoo ba ito Moira?” Ogie asked hoping that the singer would clarify this issue.
Ogie also shared that some speculated that it has something to do with Moira’s issue with her former management, Cornerstone Entertainment.
In December last year, rumors surfaced that Cornerstone had to let go of Moira because of her alleged attitude problem. Catriona is also under this talent management company. Ogie shared that some thought that Catriona was empathizing with her management.
Another alleged reason that Ogie mentioned was that singer-actor Sam Milby, who Moira considers her “kuya”, was disappointed in her for allegedly saying bad things about him. Ogie also said that some speculated that Moira was trying to flirt with Sam who is Catriona’s ex-boyfriend.
The talent manager-vlogger added that it was also rumored that Moira dela Torre has been saying negative things about other Cornerstone artists. “Sana makausap natin si Moira para malinawan yan,” Ogie Diaz.
As of this writing, Catriona Gray and Moira dela Torre haven’t released a statement yet about this.
