“I guess siguro, kung may mga gusto pa ako, ang dami, eh. Kaya lang wala sila sa ABS-CBN. Kung sino ‘yung mga wala sa ABS-CBN, gusto kong makatrabaho,” she shared. She admitted that portraying her role in the action-packed series was no easy feat. “This is the first time na gumawa ako ng ganitong genre. Noong tinanggap ko ang role, nagkaroon ako ng doubt sa sarili ko, kung kaya ko ba?” she confessed. To ensure she delivered her best performance, Jodi requested dedicated rehearsals for action scenes a day prior to shooting, demonstrating her commitment to excellence.
Among the most memorable moments for Jodi in Lavender Fields are her intense scenes with co-star Janine Gutierrez. “Memorable rin talaga sa akin ang mga scene ko with Janine, kasi lagi kaming nag-aaway. Kapag nagkikita kami, nagsasalpukan, nagtatalakan. Memorable kasi kapag nagkikita kami, hindi kami nagsasabunutan, kundi nagbubugbugan kami,” she recounted, adding humor to the intensity of their on-screen rivalry.
