Andrea del Rosario had this encounter with Vin Diesel
Former Viva Hot Babes member Andrea del Rosario recalled meeting and saying “no” to Fast & Furious actor Vin Diesel.
Andrea had the chance to meet the Hollywood actor years ago when she spent a vacation in the States. This happened in 2005. In a recent guesting on GMA Public Affair’s Lutong Bahay on GTV, host Mikee Quintos asked her a fiery question.
Based on the article in PEP, Andrea had to drink a mixture of milk and wasabe if she won’t reveal the answer.
When Andrea del Rosario was asked to give the name of a showbiz personality she turned down. The actress mentioned the name “Vin Diesel.
This elicited a shocked reaction from Mikee Quintos and somehow the former Viva Hot Babes member panicked about how to explain her answer.
“Hindi, dyino-joke lang kita, ayoko lang uminom nun [milk-wasabi]. Mikee naman, e, huwag na. Before pa yun e, ilang years ago,” the actress said.
Since Andrea started to open up about this, Mikee did not hesitate to ask more questions. Andrea shared that they met personally at a bar when she was in the US for a vacation.
The actress shared that Vin’s bodyguard approached her and said that the actor wanted to meet her. Andrea also shared that Vin invited them to visit his house.
“Rejection… kasi umuwi na ako ng Philippines after that. So, we went to his house, we went there several times, nagkaroon sila ng mga house parties, ganun. And then siyempre minsan may mga kuwentuhan kami, moments-moments, ganyan. Ayun na yun. And then, kinailangan ko na umuwi sa Philippines,” she explained when asked how the rejection happened.
PEP recalled that in a 2013 interview, Andrea del Rosario shared that even though she was back in the Philippines, the communication between her and Vin Diesel continued through email.
When asked back then how their communication stopped, the actress said that of course, it was not her ambition to have more than friendship. She also mentioned that her friend Michelle Bayle was with her when they visited Vin’s home.
“He invited me so many times to come back [sa bahay ni Vin] and he wanted me to stay there. And I said no…” Andrea del Rosario said.
Meanwhile, aside from turning down a man, the actress also knows how to turn down a role offered to her. It was for the series The Broken Marriage Vow and it was because of her intention to have a baby again.
