Carlos Yulo was asked about possible showbiz engagements
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo said that he is willing to be part of the Kapamilya action-drama series Batang Quiapo.
After winning two gold medals in the 2024 Paris Olympics, doors of opportunity opened for Carlos. He was given awards, recognitions, and prizes. He also did some TV appearances.
The gymnast visited ABS-CBN just recently and while talking with the Kapamilya executives, actor-director Coco Martin arrived. After that, a photo op happened.
With this, speculations surface that Coco asked Carlos to have an appearance on his primetime action-drama series Batang Quiapo. Aside from this, it was rumored that content creator Chloe San Jose, the girlfriend of Carlos Yulo, now has her manager, who is the former handler of Coco.
However, in an interview, after this speculation circulated, Chloe stressed that she has no plan to enter the entertainment industry. However, she made an appearance on ASAP Natin ‘To on Sunday, Sept. 1.
In a recent interview, Carlos said that he is open to having a guest appearance on Batang Quiapo even just for an episode only.
“Kung iimbitahan po ako ni Sir Coco Martin sa ‘Batang Quiapo’ kahit isang shooting day lang, papayag ako,” he said, adding that he is game to this and he will let Coco choose the role that fits for him.
Meanwhile, Carlos Yulo renewed his contract as the brand ambassador of DigiPlus and ArenaPlus. He said that this company helped him a lot, especially before his Olympic competition. This is the reason why he is so grateful for this brand.
