During the interview, Nancy Jewel McDonie was asked about her biggest splurge since becoming a K-pop idol. After a moment of thought, she revealed that she didn’t regret splurging on a good refrigerator.

Nancy explained, “It’s kinda random, but I think my refrigerator. Cause like it was [my] first time buying my own refrigerator and I went shopping with my mom. And I think it was because I was like living alone for the first time and then I wanted to go shopping for a refrigerator cause you need one.”

With a promising career ahead in the Philippines and internationally, Nancy was asked what advice she would give to her younger self or someone just starting their K-pop journey.

Nancy shared with GMANetwork.com that she would emphasize the importance of self-care, both physically and mentally.

“I think always be humble and thankful. I think the most important part is taking care of yourself. Like mentally and physically, because I started at such a young age like I really don’t know how to take care of myself. So, I do want to go back and I wish I could have that trait that I knew how to take care of myself. Even like through all the busy schedules and currently happening. I think the most important thing is to be grounded and humble.”
