Andrea Brillantes Has New Crush, Embraces Fan Girl Persona
ANDREA BRILLANTES – Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes embraced being a fangirl and revealed she has a new crush.
Andrea Brillantes is a prominent Filipino actress and model. Andrea started her career as a child actress, gaining fame for her role as Sofia Alvaro in the popular TV show “Goin’ Bulilit.”
Her major breakthrough came with her portrayal of Annaliza Querubin in the 2013 remake of the TV series “Annaliza.” Since then, she has starred in several significant TV shows and movies, including “Kadenang Ginto,” where she played Marga Bartolome, a role that cemented her position as a leading young actress in the Philippines.
Besides acting, Andrea Brillantes is also active on social media, boasting a large following. She is known for her fashion sense and engaging posts, making her a popular influencer among the younger generation.
Recently, Andrea attended Korean star Kim Soo Hyun’s fan meet at Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, wearing a wedding gown. She shared photos from the event on her Instagram account.
Recently, Andrea Brillantes revealed that she has fully embraced her fan-girl persona and creits this acceptance for her newfound happiness.
“I think in terms of blooming, tinangap ko na pagiging fan girl ko. Mas nagblo-bloom and glow if inaccept mo… Masaya lang ako. I am enjoying,” she said in an interview during her contract signing with fine jewelry brand LVNA by Drake Dustin.
“Tao lang din ako. I have free will to have interest sa bagay-bagay. Dapat free din artista express mga kinikilig kilig nila,” she added.
The latest actor to catch Andrea’s eye is Byeon Woo Seok from the hit K-drama series “Lovely Runner.”
“[I am blooming] because I have a new crush. Kaka discover ko lang kagabi, sa Lovely Runner… Kilig na kilig ako. 5:46 a.m na ako natulog,” she recalled.
Brillantes clarified that she still admires Kim Soo Hyun, the actor from “Queen of Tears,” the most.
According to her, his character in the popular series is her ideal partner.
“Crush pa lang si Lovely Runner. Kim Soo Hyun pa din, kasal na kami,” she joked.
“I’m looking more in the morals and values. The character, wala sa lahi. But preferably Korean and pangalan Kim Soo Hyun, actually Baek Hyun Woo, his character in Queen of Tears,” she continued to joke.
