FL Liza Marcos shared the conversation she had with SP Chiz Escudero in this viral video
First Lady Liza Marcos released a statement on her viral wine glass video with Senate President Chiz Escudero.
Sen. Chiz was tagged “waiter” on social media because of the video showing that the First Lady took the wine glass he was holding and took a sip. After that, FL Liza returned the glass to SP Chiz who chuckled.
With this, netizens expressed negative reactions. Some slammed the First Lady for showing “inappropriate” behavior in a political event and for them, it was a disrespectful action toward the Senate President.
Following that issue, Sen. Chiz Escudero said in an interview that there was nothing wrong with being a gentleman. ”I consider waiting on a lady (first or otherwise) to be gentlemanly,” he said.
On June 14, based on the social media post by DZRH, FL Liza Marcos released a statement to clarify what happened during the Vin d’Honneur (wine of honor) at the Malacañan Palace on Wednesday.
She shared that in reality, that day, she and President Bongbong Marcos entered the Ceremonial Hall over an hour after greeting 82 Ambassadors.
Then, they were ushered to where SP Chiz Escudero and House Speaker Martin Romualdez were standing.
The First Lady shared the short conversation she had with the Senate President. “When Chiz saw me, he said, ‘Wow, bilib din ako sa iyo. May energy ka pa after standing and smiling for over an hour. I’m sure you could use a drink,'” FL Liza shared.
She answered, “You bet:” and mischievously took a sip from Sen. Chiz’s glass. After drinking, the First Lady said to the Senate President’s champagne wasn’t cold.
They both had a good laugh over that. She also said that the whole exchange took 10 seconds. FL Liza Marcos also explained that she has known SP Chiz Escudero for many years now.
They have known each other since FL was in law school. She studied in Ateneo while the Senator was at the University of the Philippines. “We’ve been friends for like forever. So whether I made him a waiter and/or he responded like a gentleman is between us,” she said.

where only Humans and no body is perfect..and besides FL Araneta showed her loved to the people behind the Marcos administration,just a malicious mind gives shades for that matter.
