Netizens want King Of Talk Boy Abunda to be included in the cyber libel case that Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo filed against showbiz insiders Ogie Diaz and Cristy Fermin.
On May 2, Bea took a step in her legal battle against Ogie and Cristy. The actress stressed in her affidavit that she is a victim of false, malicious, and damaging information from a social media user, and Ogie and Cristy discussed this on their respective YouTube channels.
Reporters were trying to get the side of the showbiz insiders. In his social media post, Ogie apologized to reporters that he can’t release a statement yet on the case filed by Bea.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, it was not just the names of Bea, Ogie, and Cristy that trended. It is because netizens also mentioned Boy Abunda.
Netizens said that Bea should have included Tito Boy in the cyber libel case she filed against Ogie and Cristy. Some pointed out that it was the Fast Talk host who confirmed Bea’s breakup with Dominic Roque on national TV.
To recall, Tito Boy “confirmed” that Bea and Dominic called their engagement off. Following that, Bea and Dominic released a joint statement that they indeed ended their engagement and this was confirmed by other people even before they spoke about it.
However, some netizens defended Tito Boy saying that he just confirmed the breakup and this was not libelous. Some pointed out that the issue was not about the breakup but the libelous statement, such as that Bea was not paying her taxes right.
