Just recently, the quote that Carmina shared on her Instagram story became controversial again. This was shared following Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto’s clarification about the real score between her and Carmina’s daughter Cassy Legaspi.
Netizens speculated that it was directed to Darren. However, in an interview, Cassy clarified that her mom’s was not connected to the issue because the season actress is really fond of sharing Bible verses and quotes.
Previously, Carmina had a meaningful message for those who hurt her twins Mavy and Cassy.
Pilipino Star Ngayon entertainment writer Gorgy Rula also shared the reaction of Mavy Legaspi to the accusations against Carmina Villarroel’s posts. The young actor said that he chose to be silent about issues because he thinks that there is no need to talk about them.
“I mean…kung hindi naman kailangan, it’s not needed kasi. Kaya ayun, there’s nothing to talk about. Kaya, you just don’t feed anything. You don’t feed any information na hindi naman kailangan. Basta kami, peaceful kami and behind closed doors we have great relationships and a lot of people. Kaya, okay lang,” he said.
Mavy also said that there is no need for their mom to defend him and Cassy because they are already at the right age. He stressed that the public is just assuming about the posts that their mother shared on social media.
“Kaya si Mama lang, she just posts whatever she wants to post. Kasi it’s nothing related to whatever cases na nangyayari sa social media,” he said.
Mavy added that his mom has her own life and problems, and she receives a lot of blessings, like her high-rated TV series Abot Kamay Ang Pangarap. The actor-host also shared that now that they are at the right age, their parents seldom give them advice.
Mavy Legaspi said that whatever he and his sister do, it is their own choice and they are also the ones who face the consequences.
