Andi took on the solemn responsibility of confirming her mother’s death. Throughout the funeral proceedings honoring her late mother, Andi expressed nothing but affection and appreciation for those who fondly remembered Jaclyn.
Jaclyn Jose’s interment on March 10 took place at The Garden of the Divine Word Columbary in Quezon City, following a week-long wake held at the Arlington Memorial Chapel. Despite the distance, Jaclyn’s son, Gwen Garimond Ilagan Guck, managed to make it to the country for her interment.
In a recent heartfelt post, Andi bid a tearful farewell to her mother, expressing gratitude for the love and guidance Jaclyn bestowed upon them. She pledged to hold onto cherished memories forever, acknowledging that Jaclyn’s love would sustain them through the sorrowful period.
Andi’s words, “Sa kahit saang parte ng aking buhay parati kitang madarama. Parati kitang makikita. Ika’y nasa araw, sa ulan, at sa hanging aking nilalasap. Umaawit ng kantang puno ng pag- asa at ligaya. Wala na ang sakit. Wala na ang takot.”
