Catriona Gray Doesn’t Want To Be Asked About Relationship w/ Sam Milby

Catriona Gray prefers talking about pressing issues

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray chose not to talk about the recent issues surrounding her relationship with her fiance actor Sam Milby.

Catriona and Sam announced their engagement a year ago. However, early this year, rumors surfaced that their relationship was on the rocks. The beauty queen was spotted not wearing her engagement ring, and this created speculations that they broke up.

Amid the rumored breakup, Catriona and Sam appeared to debunk the speculations about their relationship status. The beauty queen tagged her fiance to her post and they were spotted together at an event and their bonding moment with celebrity couple Isabel Oli and John Prats.

To put an end to the rumored breakup, Cornerstone Entertainment, the management company handling Catriona Gray and Sam Milby’s career, released a statement. It was said that the couple is indeed going through a challenging time in their relationship but they are working things out between them.

In a recent event, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Catriona had no sign of distress amid the breakup rumors as she graciously faced the members of the press for an interview.

Entertainment reporter MJ Marfori shared that, Catriona was still not wearing her engagement ring during the K Essentials by Katinko health and beauty event in Quezon City. Before the interview, her team had a request to the reporters.

But prior to the interview, it was nice enough of her team to courteously relay that enough had been shared about her and Sam, and that she was just grateful to talk about all other issues that would be of more concern,” Marfori shared.

One of the issues she answered during the interview was about the viral video of Miss Universe Organization owner co-owner Anne Jakrajutatip in which she supposedly said that inclusivity in the pageant is just a form of “communication strategy.”

“Like yes, we’re inclusive, but just for the look of it and sana na-embrace naman nila. Inclusivity is not a token thing. It is something that needs to be embraced,” Catriona Gray commented,

The fourth Pinay Miss Universe also stressed that she loves the movement of inclusivity because she believes pageants should not define a woman’s shape and perspective of beauty.
