Liza Soberano walked on a red carpet in Hollywood

Actress Liza Soberano expressed gratitude to her co-star, writer, and director of the Hollywood film Lisa Frankenstein.

Liza’s first Hollywood film premiered and this officially marked her international acting career. Previously, the Filipino-American actress admitted that her journey was “nerve-racking.”

She was already an established actress in the Philippines but she had to start from scratch in Hollywood. Through this movie, Liza was able to find friends and camaraderie with her co-stars and even with the people behind the camera.

After the recent premiere night, Liza Soberano shared a post on Instagram showing her appreciation for the people she worked with.

“I’m so incredibly honored to be around amazing talent and even better human beings! I’m so proud of this wonderfully bonkers film we made that was born out of love for horror/comedy and a passion for story telling,” she wrote.

She also mentioned that she is happy that she became part of director Zelda Williams’s vision. Liza is thankful that the daughter of the Hollywood legend Robin Williams saw potential in her and believed in her when she was still doubting herself.

The Fil-Am actress appreciated the masterpiece that writer Diablo Cody created. “I had so much fun entering your quirky little universe,” she said.

Liza also mentioned the lead stars of Lisa Frankenstein Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse. “They’re such talented artists but more importantly the best human beings on earth and deserve all the love and success!” she said.

The movie will premiere in the Philippines on February 7.
