QCPD immediately addressed the Ronaldo Valdez Leaked Video issue
Ronaldo Valdez Leaked Video – Quezon City Police District (QCPD) fired two policemen for leaking the sensitive video of the late veteran actor.
The leaked video showed that Ronaldo was sitting on a chair inside his room in his unit in Casa Nueva Homes, Manga Street, New Manila, Quezon City. He was bloodied and holding a gun in his right hand.
The video lasted for a couple of minutes until he was brought downstairs through a stretcher. Ronaldo’s manager Jamela Santos slammed those who uploaded the video on social media.
She said that it was disrespectful. The uploader might face a criminal case for leaking this sensitive video. Prior to this, Ronaldo’s son Janno Gibbs already asked the public to respect their privacy but apparently, some people did not listen.
Based on the report from The Philippine Star, QCPD has already taken action as the agency fired the two policemen who leaked the video. However, the names of the said policemen were not revealed.
In an initial report following the incident, QCPD stated that it was apparent that the veteran actor took his own life. He has gunshot wounds on his right and left temple.
However, the police are still exploring other angles as there might be foul play. Previously, it was reported that people who were in Ronaldo’s house had undergone ballistic and paraffin tests.
QCPD stated that the investigation will continue. “We are at present conducting a thorough investigation to ascertain the cause of the death of [Valdez]. We understand the importance of this matter; hence, we are working diligently to gather all relevant facts and evidence,” QCPD chief BGen Redrico Maranan said.
As of writing, authorities haven’t released yet an update regarding this case. Meanwhile, many celebrities have shown their support for the family of Ronaldo Valdez.
They should conduct fully investigation with those policeman who uploaded the video. For what cause for them to upload the video. They should know better than uploading a dead man video. That’s homicide case.
