Kim Chiu, together with Jhong Hilario and Ion Perez, won this year’s “Magpasikat”
Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu shared her victorious journey as her team with her It’s Showtime co-hosts Jhong Hilario and Ion Perez (Team JKI) was hailed the Magpasikat 2023 winner.
Kim, aside from acting, was able to do hosting stints as well. For several years, she showed her vibrant side on the Kapamilya noontime show. It was been It’s Showtime‘s tradition to celebrate their anniversary with a bang by the amazing performances from the hosts.
This year, Kim’s team did a breathtaking parkour performance that was well-loved by many viewers and was admired by their fellow hosts.
The JKI team got the top spot and it was not a surprise for many. Kim Chiu, Jhong Hilario, and Ion Perez emotionally took their award.
Following that successful performance, the Chinita Princess shared a post on Instagram. She said that this was not an easy journey to victory because she felt different emotions. “Yung magpasikat lagi ang icing on top yearly! Nandun ang kaba, excitement, doubts worries and many more all in the spirit of love and fun,” she shared.
In her three years as an It’s Showtime host, Kim said that she already did four Magpasikat performances and in the three of these, she won. “Grabe iba ang saya!!! Nakaka tulala na wow ksama pala ako dito sa pamilyang to. CONGRATULATIONS SA LAHAT NG TEAMS,” she said, adding that it is indeed a “happy anniversary.”
Kim also thanked Jhong, their leader, for handling them well. She saw how patient and chill the former Streetboys dancer was in leading them. “Salamat din sa pag alalay sakin sa mga stunts na kinakabahan ako, tinutukan mo ako. Salamat kuys! Iba ka! Lodi!!!!” Kim said.
The actress also commended Ion. She shared that the partner of Vice Ganda has the willingness and determination that surprised her. “Nakita ko kung paano ka nag pursige and wala kang pinagdudahan sa ginawa mo. HUSAY MO! Isa ka nang ganap na dancer!!!!” she said.
Kim Chiu also thanked Ion Perez for the snack that he brought for them during rehearsals. The Chinita Princess also thanked the people behind their production for helping them present that wonderful performance.
