The controversial Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) and the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) of the national government will be used by Duterte administration as their main source to financed the salary increase of the members of the Philippine National Police and the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Mayor Duterte’s administration will use the controversial DAP & PDAF funds.
During an interview with Carlos Dominquez one of the future cabinet member under the Duterte administration, he was asked by the member of the media, he told them that the source of salary increase for PNP and AFP members will come from DAP and PDAF funds.
Dominquez was quoted sas saying “Pwede naman talaga kaysa ibubulsa lang ng mga corrupt at mga pasaway na tao sa gobyerno ang mga perang ito” he stated.
The salary increase for the members of the Philippine National Police and the Armed Forces of the Philippines was promised by Mayor Duterte during his campaign sorties.
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte wants the police officers and the members of the Armed Forces to do their job and he will do everything to secure their families and increase the salaries of the uniformed personnel nationwide.
