The rumored conflict between Kathryn and Andrea was one of the topics that talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz discussed on his YouTube showbiz talk show Showbiz Update with Mama Loi.
Based on the article in Balita, Ogie opened up about a person’s inquiry. The said person asked to confirm if Kathryn really avoids having a project with Andrea.
Mama Loi asked what is the reason behind this. “Sabi niya, ‘di ba nga dati sobrang crush ni Andrea si DJ. So, tapos parang somehow na-link ‘yung dalawa. Tapos, na-intriga pa na ‘yun daw ang cause kung bakit nagkakatampuhan sina DJ at Kathryn’,” Ogie shared.
DJ is Daniel Padilla‘s nickname, the boyfriend of Kathryn Bernardo and her longtime onscreen partner as well. Ogie exclaimed wondering why this was still the issue until now. Because of this, it was inevitable that speculations about the non-attendance of Daniel during the premiere night of Kathryn’s latest movie project A Very Good Girl with internationally acclaimed actress Dolly de Leon.
Ogie stressed that Daniel was in Spain at that time, so it is just natural that he was not able to attend his girlfriend’s movie premiere night.
To recall, last year, rumors surfaced that Daniel and Kathryn’s relationship was on the rocks. The actor’s mom, Queen Mother Karla Estrada, slammed the breakup rumors. The camp of the celebrity couple also reacted to the breakup blind item.
Ogie said that he believed that Kathryn and Daniel were still together and that there was no point in betting on the allegation that the actress did not want to work with Andrea.“So ako, feeling ko, sila pa din. Kaya sabi ko nga sa friend ko, bakit kailangang makipagpustahan na di gagawa ng pelikula si Kathryn na di kasama si Andrea?” Ogie said.
