Roxas-Robredo Tandem Visits Bantayan Town

The Liberal Party’s candidates headed by Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo visits Bantayan town today April 27, 2016 starting from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. as part of the administration party’s full-force campaign sortie in the vote-rich province of Cebu. The Roxas-Robredo tandem visits first Bantayan island before going to Talisay City for a multi-sectoral assembly from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Aside from the Liberal Party candidates, Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo, the youngest son of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is now in Bantayan island with his campaign team for their well-attended caravan visiting the three municipalities of the island namely: Sta. Fe, Madridejos and Bantayan proper.

Before the caravan of the volunteers of Mayor Duterte in Bantayan island, the 28-year-old Baste Duterte attended a “pulong-pulong” at the public plaza of Bantayan on Tuesday night attended by thousands of Duterte supporters that caught Baste by surprise.

Meanwhile, back to the political sorties of the Liberal Party, President Aquino will also visit the province of Cebu for a pre-Labor Day celebration and a campaign sortie for the local candidates of the Liberal Party as well as the proclamation rally of Bando Osmeña-Pundok Kauswagan.

Ramil Abing, executive assistant to the governor, said after lunch on Wednesday Aquino will attend a governance activity of the Department of Labor and Employment in the Mandaue Sports Center and Cultural Center. After that he will go to the BOPK sortie to be held at the Capitol grounds at 4 p.m.

President Benigno Aquino III will also join the campaign sortie of Roxas and Robredo around 5:30 p.m.

  1. Mar Roxas, where were you after typhoon Yolanda also hit Bantayan Island? No government aid came, it was all from Cebuanos. The island was almost washed out but you did not even care to see how it looked like after the typhoon…even weeks after the typhoon.
