Fans of Moira dela Torre can expect this in her new album
Singer-songwriter Moira dela Torre said that her upcoming album is definitely something different.
Moira has given her fans relatable “hugot” songs that mirror the life experiences of those who went through heartaches and despair. With her hit songs, her career blossomed so well and she continues to share her craft with her fans despite the past controversy when she was put under criticism due to the ghostwriter issue.
In a recent article by King of Talk Boy Abunda in his column in Pilipino Star Ngayon, he shared that the Paubaya singer is set to delight her fans with a new album.
Moira dela Torre shared that her upcoming album will contain songs that are far different from her previous albums.
“This album looks so much different. This album has grown so much on me, such an uncomfortable growth,” she said, adding that even those unnecessarily painful experiences and the things she does not want to go through again.
She also said that she is thankful for those experiences because she learned a lot from them. The singer-songwriter shared that she put those past experiences in the new album.
“This is not anymore a tell-tale of how I went through pain, but how I fought for my mother. I do not write things I don’t experience. I do not write things that the people I love don’t experience,” Moira said.
Meanwhile, she can totally say now that she has moved on from her breakup with her estranged husband Jason Hernadez. Moira dela Torre shared that it is her first time not to feel afraid that she is alone at home. She is also proud that she is becoming the person she really wants to be.
The singer-songwriter also said that she likes where she is now and who she is even though she is with no one.
