Mayor Duterte Responds to Pres. Aquino’s Criticisms on His Plans Once Elected as President

The country’s most popular candidate on social media and in the international community, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao City responds to Pres. Aquino’s statement and criticisms during the endorsement of the Liberal Party’s bet in the city of Manila. Pres. Aquino slammed Mayor Duterte on his plans for the Philippines once elected as president in the May 2016 national elections.

According to Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, he will not pursue the way of “dictatorship” once elected as President but he will surely go after crimes and corruptions who are still proliferating the in the country despite the effort made by the administration of Pres. Aquino.

The 71-year-old Mayor Duterte also reminded President Aquino that his parents were against in any form of oppressive government and his family stands side-by-side with the Aquino family during the dark days of the Philippines as claimed by the Aquino administration.

The Davao City Mayor also noted that he is not afraid of the endorsement made by Mayor Joseph Estrada to Sen. Grace Poe and the Liberal Party’s endorsement of Alfredo Lim to become Manila mayor but grateful for Lim’s support with Mayor Duterte as President of the Philippines.

Mayor Duterte’s supporters on the other hand made some noise on social media and shared their views as response to the President’s statement against Mayor Duterte. They noted that President Aquino might be afraid of a Duterte presidency because the mayor promised to go after those politicians who were responsible for the controversial DAP, Pork Barrel Funds and the irregularities of the Yolanda Funds.
