After joining as The X Factor as judge in 2007, Dannii Minogue unfortunately can’t make it this year to be part of the show.
Minogue, at 39 confirmed her decision by leaving a post in a link through the website mydaily.co.uk, wherein she works as a contributing editor, via her Twitter page.
Her departure from the X Factor heated the people’s speculation about the make-up of the panel, after it was announced that Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole will appear as judge on the U.S. version of the said show who will be hosted by former pussycat doll Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones.
The Australian singer quit the ITV talent contest just before the launch of the new series.
She has to make decision because of her other commitment as a judge on Australia’s Got Talent.
When she joined The X Factor in 2007, Minogue was able to mentor two winners namely Matt Cardle and Leon Jackson.
“I am so disappointed that I can’t be a part of The X Factor this year,” Minogue said.
“I’m going to miss the show and the amazing team who work so incredibly hard on it,” she continued.
The premiere reason why she can’t make it to this year’s The X Factor was that the dates audition in the UK clashes with Australia’s Got Talent which is a live show wherein she is a judge from June and July.
After her confirmation of not joining this years The X Factor judge, speculations that Louis Walsh will return to the UK judging panel and Lily Allen, Gary Barlow, Melanie B, Ozzy Osbourne and Tulisa Contostavlos, from the band N-Dubz, have all also been linked to the show.
