Pauline Amelinckx talked about her MUPH 2023 stint
Miss Supranational Philippines 2023 Pauline Amelinckx admitted that she was a bit disappointed for not winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 crown.
Pauline was one of the pageant veterans who joined MUPH this year. She was a crowd favorite and even before the coronation night, pageant fans were already anticipating that she will represent the Philippines in the next edition of Miss Universe.
However, the Boholana beauty was hailed as Miss Supranational PH and actress-beauty queen Michelle Dee was the one who won the MUPH 2023 crown.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Pauline Amelinckx admitted that she was expecting that she’ll bring home the crown. However, the crown that she got was for the Miss Supranational pageant.
“I was a little bit disappointed in myself, too, if I can be perfectly honest,” the beauty queen from the Visayas said. She also admitted that after having her self-reflection and looking back on what transpired, Pauline said that there were areas in which she can do better.
“Perhaps it could have changed some of the results,” she said. Pauline, on the other hand, said that at the end of the day, it is just a “what if” and she does not want to ponder too much on the past.
However, Pauline said that Michelle is deserving to win the crown and the latter would make the Philippines proud. She added that when it comes to her fans, they have something exciting to look forward to.
“So, hopefully, you can still support me on this journey towards Poland. And hopefully, help me pray and manifest the second Miss Supranational crown for the Philippines,” Pauline Amelinckx added.
She also shared that when her name was called for the Top 5, her emotions soared high and this got the best of her.
