An old man who patiently waited for six hours just to buy tickets for the highly anticipated AlDub event dubbed “Tamang Panahon” featuring the country’s most popular love team Alden Richards and Yaya Dub this coming October 24 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan became the hottest trending topics on social media.
Netizens were touched by the story of the old man who described himself as an avid AlDub fan. The news broke out to the entertainment community when Twitter user Perfect TiMeng posted a photo of the said old man falling in line patiently for six hours but don’t want to get some special treatment.
According to the Twitter post, the old man wanted to buy some tickets that worth P350 but it so happened that the only tickets that are left unsold are the P150 which is the general admission but the old grace it with pure joy.
Upon receiving the tickets worth P150 the old wan was still very happy while saying “okay lang P150 and mahalaga mapuno natin diba para hindi na tayo maliitin.”
Yaya Dub or Maine Mendoza was so touched with the old man’s gesture and tweeted on his official Twitter account about the old man saying “Awwww. Baka po meron sa inyong nakakakilala kay lolo? Tulungan nyo po akong mahanap sya,” she tweeted.
A concerned citizen helped Yaya Dub in finding the old man and after a few hours the popular KalyeSerye star, Yaya Dub tweeted again that she already found the old man.
