A Hungarian camerawoman made headlines after a controversial video of her emerged online after she intentionally tripped over a fleeing refugees as they covered the incident near the country’s border. The video below will surely make journalists to be careful every time they were on the field.
According to Mashable, the incident took place near the border village of Röszke, where migrants and refugees have been stranded for days.
The Hungarian authorities are currently struggling to process the large number of people en route to other locations in Europe wherein most of them were trying to pass through Hungary in an attempt to seek asylum elsewhere.
The viral video footage was captured a journalist standing nearby showing the female videographer, seen wearing a blue shirt and face mask, intentionally tripping a man running with a child in his arms. The man immediately falls to the ground and which was also caught on camera.
After the controversial video emerged and went viral online, N1TV announced on their official Facebook Page that the camerawoman had been fired.
