A rumor surfaced that Kim Chiu was suspended from he Kapamilya noontime show
An executive of the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime spoke about the rumor that actress-host Kim Chiu was suspended.
The rumor came from issue that surfaced following Kim’s viral “Ryzza Mae” joke. She jokingly called her co-host Jugs Jugueta “Ryzza Mae.”
This did not sit well with the fans of Eat Bulaga host Ryzza Mae Dizon, as for them, she was being mocked by the Kapamilya actress-host. Amid the issue, some fans called out to Kim and demanded her to apologize.
While the online community and fans from both sides were talking enthusiastically about this on social media, both Kim and Ryzza remained silent. No one from their camps also talked about the issue. However, for some netizens, Kim’s meaningful posts amid the issue, had something to do with this.
Then, the issue surfaced that Kim Chiu was allegedly suspended from the noontime show.
Based on the article in Bandera, an executive of It’s Showtime debunked the rumor: “HINDI totoo!” An allegation circulated that ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes was the one who issued the suspension. This “fake news” circulated on various social media platforms.
Meanwhile, during the episode of Eat Bulaga last Sarutrday, Henyo Master Joey de Leon had a striking question to Ryzza Mae Dizon. “Kailan kayo mag-uusap ni Kim Chiu?” the veteran comedian-host asked the young TV host. Ryzza just smiled at this and said, “hi.”
Meanwhile, Kim is flexed her online class studying the Korean language for her upcoming project with actor Paulo Avelino. Reportedly, it is the series Kopina with important scene that will be shot in South Korea. As of this writing, no further details yet were revealed about this project.
