Rodelyn Perez Drops Eman Pacquiao Three Times in Title Fight

Eman Pacquiao’s Winning Streak Ends After Brutal Night in the Ring

EMAN PACQUIAO – What was expected to be another victory for Eman Pacquiao turned into a memorable night for Rodelyn Perez, who scored three knockdowns en route to a title win.

Eman Bacosa Pacquiao experienced the first loss of his professional boxing career after falling to Rodelyn Perez in their battle for the Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) lightweight championship title on June 21 at the DRP Sports Complex in Muntinlupa City.

Perez delivered a dominant performance, knocking Pacquiao down three times during the match. The victory earned Perez the PBF lightweight crown and ended the winning run of the son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.

The fight proved to be a tough challenge for Eman from the early rounds. He was first sent to the canvas in the second round before suffering two more knockdowns in the third round. Despite showing determination and continuing the fight, Pacquiao struggled to recover from the early setbacks.

After a competitive contest, the judges scored the bout 75-75, 76-73, and 75-74 in favor of Perez, giving him the championship victory via majority decision.

The result marked a significant moment in both fighters’ careers. For Pacquiao, the defeat lowered his professional record to 8 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. Meanwhile, Perez improved his record to 5 wins and 4 losses while capturing one of the biggest victories of his boxing journey.

The bout also served as a rematch between the two fighters. Back in 2024, Pacquiao defeated Perez through a majority decision, making Perez’s victory this time a measure of redemption.

Before the loss, Eman had been building momentum in the lightweight division. In February 2026, he scored an impressive victory over Indonesian boxer Reynold Kundimang, whom he knocked out in the fourth round. That performance further strengthened his reputation as one of the promising young fighters in Philippine boxing.

However, Perez proved to be the better man on fight night, using his power and timing to repeatedly catch Pacquiao and secure the crucial knockdowns that ultimately decided the outcome of the match.

While the defeat may be a setback for Eman Pacquiao, it also provides an opportunity for the young boxer to learn, regroup, and continue developing his career inside the ring.
