The TCL Tab 8 Gen 2 was officially announced in February 2024. The tablet is fueled with a 6000 mAh battery + 18W wired charging. It was launched in a single color, Black.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the tab is 211.8 x 125.5 x 8.4 mm and weighs 330 grams. It comes with a screen size of 8.7 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 800 x 1340 pixels, and a 5:3 aspect ratio.
Platform:
The tablet is powered by a Mediatek Helio G80 (12 nm) Octa-core processor coupled with a Mali G52 MP2 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on Android 14 + upgradable to Android 15 operating system. It is packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Main Camera:
The rear side of the TCL Tab 8 Gen 2 sports an 8-megapixel camera.
Selfie Camera:
For selfies, the tab comes with a 5-megapixel front camera.
Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE, GPS, and USB Type-C 2.0. Its sensors include an accelerometer and proximity (accessories only).
