Jake Cuenca revealed the current status of his love life
Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca confirmed that he is dating someone now, but he did not reveal the woman’s identity.
Jake’s breakup with actress Chie Filomeno was quite controversial. It was because rumors surfaced that the actress had just left him to be with Cebu-based businessman Matthew Lhuillier.
Their relationship lasted for two years. For quite a while, the actor was silent about this, despite some speculations that he was really devastated when Chie left him.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Jake Cuenca shared that he is open to falling in love again. However, he is not in a hurry to enter into a new relationship.
He also said that he is enjoying his single life now and he wanted to make the most of this chapter, until he finds the woman who will make his heart flutter once again.
“I’m enjoying having fun in life and enjoying someone’s company. And I’m enjoying also the concept of, if I’m on a date, it’s my obligation to make this date the best date for this girl who crossed me,” the actor shared.
Jake Cuenca also confirmed in the same interview that he is someone. On the other hand, the actor did not reveal any names.
He just said, “Really fortunate to be meeting like, you know, amazing people who are great company as well.”
Just recently, Jake’s photo with Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, taken in BGC, circulated online. With this, netizens speculated that they are currently dating.
Previously, Rabiya shared that she is in a happy place now when she was asked about the status of her love life. She also said that she is in a getting-to-know-each-other stage with someone. Netizens also noticed the simple comment that Jake left on Rabiya’s recent post.
Jake Cuenca had a statement in the past that he hoped his next girlfriend would be non-showbiz. However, in a recent interview, it appeared that he has changed his perspective.
“Can’t really make those promises. Sa akin, I like what I like. Kung may gusto ko, gusto ko talaga. So whether it showbiz, non-showbiz, I can’t really promise that,” he said, adding that he can’t stop himself if he really likes the woman, whether she is in showbiz or not.
