Sofia Andres shared this inspiring post on Instagram
Kapamilya actress Sofia Andres discussed how some people wrongly measure women’s worth.
Sofia has been in the industry for many years already. She already had her fair share of issues and controversies. In a recent interview, she even mentioned that she was aware of some people’s comments about her, such as that she’s “kontrabida” and “pakialamera.”
It was probably because of her courage to share on social media what she thinks and feels. Sofia stressed that it is because she is a concerned friend and she really cares for her loved ones.

In a recent post on Instagram, Sofia Andres tackled an important topic. She said she saw that people were curious about her life, relationship, and status.
It is well known that Sofia has been in a relationship with her partner, Daniel Miranda, for several years, and they have a daughter named Zoe. They are still together, but for some people, the fact that they are not yet married is an issue.
“Let me ask you something. Do I need to be married to meet your standards? And if I am, do I owe anyone proof?” she wrote in the caption of her post featuring her video enjoying a beautiful camping view.
She also said that some would ask when she would have more kids, and for her, women are being reduced to timelines and expectations.
“Why is a woman’s worth still measured by what she shows, instead of what she builds?” Sofia asked. The actress stressed that she has worked for everything she has now, and she continues to work, grow, and choose her own path.
While doing these, she is supported by people who truly know her, like her family, and those people who are true to her.

She also stressed that not everything should be shown and explained, because some things need to be private and protected, and some are not for public consumption.
The actress called out to her fellow women. “And to every woman reading this,
go for your dream. Not the version the world expects from you, but the life you know you’re meant to build,” she said.
Sofia Andres also encouraged women to work for their own money, stand on their own name, and create something that is theirs. For her, women do not need a title to be respected, a validation to feel complete. She encouraged them to be driven, independent, and unstoppable, even when no one is watching.
“I am a woman who works, who earns, who dreams, and that, on its own, is already more than enough,” Sofia said.
