AJ Raval Shares Hilarious Memory When Jeric Raval Made All His Children Shave Their Heads
AJ RAVAL – Growing up in a family of 18 siblings was already unusual, but AJ Raval revealed an even funnier moment when their father, Jeric Raval, shaved all their heads during playtime.
Former Vivamax Queen AJ Raval recently looked back on her childhood and shared amusing yet heartfelt memories of growing up in a large and unconventional family led by action star Jeric Raval.
The actress admitted that her upbringing, along with her many siblings, was far from ordinary because of their extended family setup. Still, AJ emphasized that despite their unique situation, she never felt any favoritism from their father.
AJ is one of the many children of Jeric Raval, who has a total of 18 kids. According to the actress, their father made sure that all of them felt equally loved and treated fairly.
The current partner of Aljur Abrenica opened up about her family life during her guest appearance on the vodcast Your Honor, hosted by Buboy Villar and Chariz Solomon on GMA.
During the “House of Honorables” segment of the show, AJ talked about what it was like growing up in a household where she had so many siblings, some of whom she did not even realize were her brothers and sisters at first.
“May araw lang na naglalaro kami, kala ko pinsan ko ‘yung isa. So, lumalaki kang magkakapatid pala kami, hindi ko alam,” AJ shared.
Despite having different mothers, AJ said their father constantly reminded them to treat each other as true family.
“Kapag kadugo mo, kadugo mo! Kapatid mo ‘yan walang anak sa labas parang ganu’n niya kami minulat,” she said.
Aside from the meaningful lessons about family, AJ also shared a funny childhood memory involving their father that still makes her laugh today.
She recalled a time when Jeric surprised all of them during playtime with a rather unusual decision.
“Playtime, hindi ko alam kung ano’ng trip ng tatay ko, but not in a bad way, lahat kaming magkakapatid kinalbo niya kami. Wala lang, masaya lang siya, Shaolin, ganu’n.”
AJ continued her story with laughter as she imagined how the scene must have looked to others.
“Imaginin mo, maraming bata tapos lahat kalbo. Nakasakay sa pickup paikot-ikot sa bayan,” AJ said, laughing.
For AJ, these memories reflect the unique but loving environment they grew up in, one that may have been unconventional, but was still filled with humor, bonding, and strong family values instilled by their father.
