Eugene Domingo expressed admiration for Hilda Koronel
Comedienne-actress Eugene Domingo recently took to Instagram to express her profound admiration for veteran star Hilda Koronel.
They had the chance to work with each other in the film Sisa. Hilda is one of the most respected actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry. Her acting caliber is something that a lot of the younger generations of actresses admire.
Eugene, on the other hand, rose to fame in mainstream media as a comedienne. However, her acting prowess is undeniable because of her background in theater.
In a recent social media post, Eugene Domingo shared a tribute to Hilda Koronel. The comedienne-actress expressed gratitude for the veteran actress’s existence in general and her contribution to the entertainment industry.
“Maraming salamat sa iyong kabuuan. Isa kang artistang hindi matatawaran,” Eugene wrote, addind the adjectives “Mahusay, masipag, magaling, mapagmalasakit, matapang, baliw,” to describe the Hilda.
Eugene added that it is a big honor for her to share the same frame with the veteran actress. “Salamat at ikaw ay nagbalik upang gumawa na naman ng isang importanteng pelikula,” the comedienne-actress said.
Eugene also shared that she has been a loyal follower of the veteran actress. However, her admiration for Hilda grew even deeper after witnessing her portrayal of her character in Sisa. “MABUHAY KA!” she said to the veteran actress.
Hilda Koronel responded to Eugene Domingo’s tribute post with, “Thank you mama Eugene for your kind words..I love you very much. Working with you has been a pleasure and a blessing. Maraming salamat.”
In the comment section of Eugene’s post, several netizens also expressed positive words for Hilda. “Ako din po paborito ko pong artista ang nagiisang Hilda koronel,” a netizen commented.
Prior to this movie project, moviegoers also praised Eugene’s performance in the movie Kontrabida Academy with Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza.
