Rabiya Mateo Reveals the Real Reason She Is Still Single
RABIYA MATEO – Beauty queen and actress Rabiya Mateo is embracing a season of self-growth as she candidly shares why love is not her priority right now.
Rabiya Mateo is choosing self-healing and personal growth over romance, for now. The former beauty queen recently opened up about her current state of mind and heart during her guest appearance on DJ Chacha’s podcast, From The Heart, where she candidly shared why she is not rushing into a new relationship.
When asked to rate herself from 1 to 10 in terms of how she is doing, Rabiya honestly responded, “Probably a good seven.” While she considers herself in a relatively good place, she admitted that she is still “a work in progress.” For the actress and public figure, growth is an ongoing journey, one that requires patience and self-awareness.

Rabiya Mateo did not shy away from discussing her wellness journey. She revealed that she continues to take medication and occasionally consults with her doctor as part of maintaining her well-being. Her transparency highlighted how seriously she takes her mental and emotional health.
She further explained why entering a new relationship is not a priority at the moment. “Siguro isa din yun kung bakit parang ayoko pa makipag-relasyon agad. Kasi kailangan ayusin ko muna yung sarili ko para hindi na maulit yung mga problema from the past,” she shared. For Rabiya, it is important to resolve personal issues first to avoid repeating past mistakes.

Rather than seeing singlehood as something lacking, Rabiya views it as a season of preparation. She believes that love should come at the right time, when she is fully ready to give her best self.
“Para kung sino man yung ibibigay ni Lord, you know, God’s perfect choice, I can be the best version of Rabiya that he deserves,” she revealed.
For now, Rabiya Mateo is embracing growth, healing, and faith. Instead of rushing into romance, she is focusing on becoming stronger and more whole, trusting that when love arrives, she will be ready for it.
