Harry Roque Claims VP Sara Duterte’s Rivals Are Now Shaking in Fear
HARRY ROQUE – Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque ignited fresh political speculation after claiming that Vice President Sara Duterte’s rivals are now gripped by fear following her 2028 presidential bid.
Former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque stirred fresh political buzz with bold claims about supposed developments between President Bongbong Marcos and Vice President Sara Duterte ahead of the 2028 national elections.
Roque alleged that President Marcos is now seeking reconciliation with the Vice President following her declaration of candidacy for the 2028 presidential race. The lawyer made the revelation through a video posted on his Facebook page, citing information from what he described as a confidential source.

“Ayon sa confidential source namin, gusto makipag-ayos ni Marcos Jr., kay VP Sara.
“Siyempre, kilala ko na ‘yang si VP Sara, tapos na. The train has left. Wala nang balikan ‘yan,” said Roque.
According to Roque, however, Duterte is no longer interested in any form of political compromise. He suggested that the Vice President has already moved forward and is focused on more pressing matters.
The former spokesperson further claimed that what the Vice President truly seeks at this point is justice for her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, who remains detained at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
“Ang gusto ni Inday Sara ngayon, katarungan sa nangyari sa kaniyang ama na hanggang ngayon ay nakakulong sa The Hague,” Roque said.
“At talaga namang hindi ‘yan magpapatawad,” he said.

Roque also claimed that Duterte’s political rivals are already alarmed following confirmation of her presidential bid. He implied that her decision to run has unsettled those who may have opposing plans for the upcoming elections.
“Kaya takot na takot na sila ngayon. Nanginginig na sila. Dahil baka mamaya lahat ng plano nila hindi na umepekto at maging Presidente pa rin si VP Sara, lagot na sila,” Roque seemed to be threatening.
It can be recalled that on February 18, Vice President Duterte formally announced to the Filipino public her decision to run for president in the 2028 elections, setting the stage for what could become one of the most highly anticipated political contests in recent history.
