Jojo Mendrez was asked about Mark Herras
The viral video of StarStruck first Ultimate Male Survivor Mark Herras, in which he was crying, received a comment from businessman-singer Jojo Mendrez.
To recall, netizens noticed Mark and Jojo’s closeness last year when they were spotted together at a hotel lobby. However, they both denied that there was a romantic connection between them. The actor said that the businessman-singer just hired him for the promotion of his song.
Then, an issue occurred between them when Jojo filed a case against Mark, who allegedly made “pagbabanta” against him, even though he lent the actor money, and they were supposed to have an appearance at the Star Awards. The case apparently was dropped, as there was no update that was reported about this.

Early this February, Mark Herras shared a video on his social media page showing that he was crying. The actor did not say anything about, he did not reveal the reason behind his emotional state.
Later on, rumors surfaced that he and his wife, Nicole Donesa, broke up. This came after netizens noticed that they unfollowed each other on social media. Some people speculated that Mark was crying because he did not have showbiz projects or that he was jobless. The actor ranted at netizens who speculated this and showcased the projects that he was doing.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Jojo Mendrez was asked about the viral emotional video of Mark Herras.

He stressed that being emotional in front of the public could receive polarizing reactions.
“If you want to cry, cry in private because people have different types of reactions — it could do good or bad, and sometimes lead to things that are even more hurtful,” Jojo said.
The businessman-singer also stressed that he is not forcing Mark to settle his financial obligations, given his current state. Jojo also said that he is willing to invite Mark to one of the awards ceremonies, as he is now the producer of Sthe tar Awards for Movies and the Star Awards for Television.
