Ellen Adarna Breaks Silence and Fires Back at Cristy Fermin Over Derek Ramsay Issue
ELLEN ADARNA – Actress Ellen Adarna is making headlines after directly confronting claims about Derek Ramsay’s role as a provider.
Ellen Adarna has spoken out strongly against remarks made by veteran columnist Cristy Fermin regarding the financial support she allegedly receives from Derek Ramsay following their separation.
In a series of candid Instagram stories, Ellen addressed what she described as “misleading and unfair” statements about her current situation. The controversy stemmed from a video in which Fermin suggested that Ellen remains “secure” because of Derek’s supposed generosity as a provider. Ellen did not take the claim lightly.

“What kind of foolishness is this, Christy Vermin?!” Ellen wrote. “The claims being made are misleading and unfair. Let’s set the record straight. Truth matters. Facts matter,” she added.
According to Ellen, there has been “no sustento” from Derek over the past month. She revealed that it was only after she contacted his assistant that a credit card was provided — and even then, she said the limit was insufficient.
“Last month, I told his asst., ‘No sustento, no Lili. That simple.’ I am not demanding anything beyond what is fair — but I will not allow a father to live comfortably just cooling his b*lls while having little to no contribution to his child because he gets to see her almost everyday.”
She further clarified that the credit card had a P50,000 limit, which she claims does not fully cover their daughter Liana’s needs.
“That amount covers only 55.88% of the actual breakdown of Liana’s expenses that I clearly presented. Let’s be accurate about that,” she shared.

Ellen also dismissed claims that Derek’s family has been supporting her household expenses. “I have 5 nannies and 2 are for Liana. They only paid for one nanny for Liana. I paid for my own groceries,” she clarified. She added, “And they did not provide a house for me. I did that myself. Let us not rewrite history.”
Ending her post with a firm message, Ellen urged the public to reconsider labeling someone a “good provider” without examining the facts.
“So please, let’s stop being delusional and stop branding someone as a “good provider” when the numbers and reality say otherwise. A real provider doesn’t wait to be called out. He gives willingly, he takes initiative, he doesn’t rely on words, flexing, or public image. That’s it pancit. Period!”
