Onemig Bondoc Defends Aiko After Offensive Bembangan Comment Goes Viral
ONEMIG BONDOC – Actor Onemig Bondoc did not hold back after reading a controversial bembangan comment about him and Aiko Melendez online.
Nearly three decades after first meeting, Onemig Bondoc and Aiko Melendez have finally made their relationship official, and they did it unapologetically.
In a new vlog uploaded on Aiko’s YouTube channel, Onemig did not mince words as he proudly declared their status. “WE are officially together, so, doon sa mga nangangarap pa kay Ms. Aiko (Melendez) mga gustong pumapel sorry guys, sorry mayors, councilors, may nanalo na isang hamak na businessman na nagmamahal sa iyo ng tapat.”

Onemig Bondoc also addressed criticisms about Aiko’s past relationships. “Doon sa mga (nagsasabi) sobrang nahe-hurt ako na sobrang dami ng lalaki ni Aiko, sobrang dami ng nagdaan, lahat naman tayo may mga past wala namang taong walang past.
“So, kung mahal mo ang tao kailangang i-accept mo ang past dahil lahat tayo nagkakamali wala namang hindi nagkakamali kaya sana tigil-tigilan n’yo na ‘yung mga ganu’n,” said Uno.
The couple chose Valentine’s Day to confirm what many had already sensed from their previous vlogs, that their connection was heading toward something serious.
However, Onemig also expressed disappointment over offensive comments online. “’Yung mga nagsasabi diyan na medyo bastos na, sasabihin ko na rin kasi masakit, eh. Siyempre mahal ko ‘yung tao ayaw ko namang makakita ng ganu’n comment na ‘nabembang’ ganyan.
“Hindi naman kami nandito para bumembang. Pag mahal mo ang tao hindi mo sasabihing bembang, you make love to the person hindi bembang, so, sana tigilan n’yo na mga ganu’n kasi hindi maganda,” Uno explained while Aiko listened.

He emphasized that many young viewers from Gen Z and Gen Alpha read the public comments on their vlogs. “’Yun ba ang gusto nating ipahatid sa mga bata, di ba? Isipin n’yo rin bago kayo mag-comment ng kabastusan or walang katuturan sana tingnan n’yo rin ‘yung mga batang makakabasa nito kasi we’re setting a good example.
“Sana you should set a good example also. Kung wala naman kayong sasabihing maganda, ‘wag na lang kayong mag-comment. We’re just here to spread positivity and love, respeto (lang),” said Uno.
After 29 years of knowing each other, both at ages 48 and 50, they believe they are mature enough for this new chapter.
Aiko shared, “May mga nabasa kami na naggagamitan lang daw kami, unang-una we’re off age already, we know what we’re getting into and tandaan n’yo po sa mga nanonood hindi ko lang po siya kakilala kahapon 29 years ko na po siyang kakilala, so, meron na po kaming na-build na foundation even before we got to this stage.
“Sabi ko nga I stop dating because I would just be wasting my time getting to know someone na who I barely know.
“Sabi ko nga Onemig alam ko na lahat ang past niya at sabi ko nga sa inyo willing to accept it because it comes with the package, eh, pag nagmahal ka kailangan tanggapin mo ‘yung karugtong nu’ng past niya kasi it’s something that cannot be deleted or erased.”
Onemig added, “That relationship taught us a lot, nag-mature kami, naging pasensyoso kami, mas alam na namin kung paano iha-handle ang isang relationship kasi we both came from, (not so nice relationship, sabi ni Aiko),”
Aiko added, “For every endings there’s new beginnings, so, we look forward to the new beginnings that God has given us. So, it’s official, honey (sabay lingon kay Onemig).”
