Alvin Aragon openly criticized Alex Castro
StarStruck alum Alvin Aragon, the current partner of Sxbomb Izzy Trazona, slammed Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro for letting his wife, Sxbomb Sunshine Garcia, join the girl group’s reunion concert.
The said girl group, which originated in the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga, was known for its sultry dance steps. Their popularity skyrocketed during the early 2000s, and some members had their acting careers even after the group was no longer active, such as Kapuso star Rochelle Pangilinan.
Since last year, S*xbomb had their reunion concerts, and more shows were added as fans were demanding to watch more. Some members were not able to join, and one of them was Izzy Trazona, who had been actively practicing her faith with her husband, Alvin.
In a recent interview on Abante’s Jigo Live, Alvin Aragon openly criticized the husband of Sunshine Cruz for letting her perform at the concert. The StarStruck reacted to being compared to Vice Gov. Alex Castro.
“Sinasabi nila, ‘Buti pa ‘yung asawa ni Sunshine, Vice Governor, pinayagan sila mag-concert.’ Dapat nga hindi eh. Dapat nga, ‘yung asawa mo, ingatan mo. Hindi mo hahayaang magsuot ng mga damit na para pagnasaan ng mga lalaki,” Alvin stressed.
He also said that as a husband, he is protecting Izzy and get her away from a situation that would create unpleasanst conversations and thoughts among other men.
“Niligawan ko nga asawa ko simula 2011 hanggang bago kami ikasal, naging fiance kami. Sabi ko, ‘Hindi ko siya hahalikan, eh, until the pastor, you may kiss your bride.’ Tapos papayagan ko siya mag-concert para mag-towel lang, na makikita ng gaano karaming lalaki sa buong Pilipinas?” Alvin pointed out.
Then, he emphasized that he will not allow Izzy to dance on stage wearing revealing clothes and showing some skin. “I want to protect my wife. Ako lang titingin, kasi ako ang husband,” he said.
As of this writing, Sunshine Cruz and Alex Castro have yet to release a statement to answer Alvin Aragon’s statement.
