Ejay Falcon stressed that he did not visit Bong Revilla in the detention center
Actor-turned-politician Ejay Falcon clarified his statement about former Senator Bong Revilla.
Ejay had the chance to work with Bong in the Kapuso defunct series Walang Matigas Na Pulis Sa Matinik na Misis. In a previous interview, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate shared he bonded with the veteran action star on the set as the latter would teach him how to do his action scenes.
In the same interview, Ejay shared his thoughts on the current predicament of Bong, who is currently detained because of the corruption allegations against him.
Ejay Falcon said that he is saddened by what is happening now to Bong Revilla. However, he stressed that hopefully, justice will be served, and those who are involved should be held accountable.
Some media news sites, like Pilipino Star Ngayon, which was previously cited as a source, claimed that Ejay visited Bong in the detention center.
However, in a clarification made by the actor, based on the article in PEP, he did not visit the former Senator. It was said that based on what he saw, Bong was not getting special treatment inside the detention center.
He stressed that what he meant was that he could not imagine how Bong could survive in the detention center. Ejay also repeated what he said about wanting to see the culprits punished so that the rotten system would be gone.
“Wala ako sa posisyon na magkomento tungkol sa kaso ni Senator Bong, hindi ko naman po alam. Saka hindi po ako nakadalaw sa kanya sa kulungan. Hindi pa po ako nakapunta doon sa kulungan sa Payatas,” Ejay Falcon said.
It was also said that this matter has reached Bong’s camp and it was stressed that Ejay really did not visit the former Senator.
