Camille Prats Gets Emotional After Netizen Says She Is Still Princess Sarah
CAMILLE PRATS – Actress Camille Prats could not hold back her tears after a netizen compared her to the beloved Princess Sarah once again.
Camille Prats-Yambao turned emotional after receiving heartfelt praise from a netizen who recently spotted her at the concert of singer-couple KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde.
The actress could not hide her feelings after reading a comment describing her as seemingly “untouched by time,” noting that she still carries the same “Princess Sarah Crewe” aura that many Filipinos grew up loving.
“Just saw the video clip of Camille Prats at KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde’s concert and wow…did time just stop? From 1995’s ‘Sarah… Ang Munting Prinsesa’ to 2026, she still carries that same Princess Sarah Crewe aura. The smile, the gentleness, the warmth. It is the kind of presence that instantly brings you back to childhood, like seeing an old friend you never really forgot,” said a netizen.
The touching message quickly reached Camille, who admitted that she was moved to tears by the kind words.
“Awww thank you…Grabe naman to napaiyak naman ako…I give credit to Him alone! Love, peace and joy that can only come from above and not from this world. Love you all mga batang 90’s!” said Camille in her latest Facebook post on Wednesday, February 11.
She further shared how overwhelmed she felt while reading the flood of comments from supporters who reminisced about their childhood memories of watching her in her iconic role.
“Grabeee naman pinapaiyak niyo ako sa mga comments niyo…my heart is overwhelmed with joy reading all of it! Its an honor to be a part of your childhood. Kabataan nating lahat na kailanman laging aalalahanin saan man dalhin ng panahon. Love you all!” she said.
Camille famously portrayed Sarah in the 1995 film “Sarah…Ang Munting Prinsesa,” directed by Romy Suzara. Her performance in the beloved movie left a lasting mark on Filipino audiences, cementing her place as one of the most memorable child stars of her generation.
She starred alongside award-winning actors such as Mat Ranillo III, Jean Garcia, and Rio Locsin in the film, which is still remembered fondly by fans decades later.
Even after many years, it is clear that for many netizens, Camille will always be their Princess Sarah.
