Glaiza de Castro was asked about this issue raised against her husband
Kapuso actress Glaiza De Castro has spoken out about the viral moment between her husband, David Rainey, and her fellow actress, Maris Racal.
Glaiza and Rainey tied the knot in October 2021. After their wedding, the Kapuso actress opted to continue her acting career. In an interview back in 2023, Glaiza shared that she was not yet ready to have a baby.
Last year, Glaiza starred in the movie Unmarry, featuring Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo. Maris was also one of the cast members.

In December 2025, a video clip taken during the premiere night of the movie suddenly went viral on social media, in which Glaiza de Castroâs husband was between her and Maris Racal.
Many netizens noticed that David seemed to be looking and almost staring at Maris, and speculations from netizens surfaced.
King of Talk Boy Abunda, on his Fast Talk with Boy Abunda show, asked Glaiza about that viral moment of her husband with her co-star.
âI donât have any controversial relationships tapos nung binring up âyung premiere night, ang first reaction ko ânun, pinakita ko kay David, âyouâre trending.â Sabi niya, âwhat? bloody hellâ,â the Kapuso actress said.
According to the actress, her non-showbiz husband is not used to public exposure, so his reaction was natural. Glaiza said that it was David’s tendency to wonder what he was going to do there, and he was not even being talked to, and no one was asking him.

It can be recalled that because of the viral clip, some netizens were overly hyped and even accused David of having a tendency to cheat.
The actress said that there was a time when she was reading all the comments, and these were from netizens telling her that she should watch out for her wife because he has a tendency to cheat.
That was during the Christmas season, and she told her niece and her mom about this, and asked them if she should answer or not, as she wanted to tell netizens that they were good at inventing things.
“Gusto ko na talagang sumagot. I didnât, I didnât, especially po for David din, for Davidâs sake and sa mga pamangkin ko na nagsasabi âwag na tita, hayaan mo na âyan,'” Glaiza de Castro said.
