Kim Ji Soo talked about working with Jillian Ward in a new series
Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward received this praise from South Korean actor Kim Ji Soo, who is one of her leading man in the new Kapuso series Never Say Die.
This is Jillian and Ji Soo’s second project together. They first worked together in the defunct afternoon drama series Abot Kamay na Pangarap, in which Jiliian played the character of the genius surgeon Dr. Analyn Santos, and Ji Soo was Dr. Kim Young, a child psychiatrist.
Previously, Jillian shared that she has three leading men in Never Say Die. Aside from Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco, Kim Ji Soo and Pakistani model Raheel Bhyria will also be love interests of her character.
Jillian shared that Ji Soo is “makulit” but very discipleed on the set and very serious in what he does.
In an interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the South Korean actor shared his praise for Jillian Ward. “She [has] good eyes as an actor. When she does the action, it’s cool,” he said about the actress.
Ji Soo also expressed happiness for the friendship that he was able to establish with the Star of the New Gen, as well as with the other cast members. “We are very close now, everyone–David, Raheel, Jillian. All together, we’re very close so we are very playful on the set,” he shared.
In the series, Ji Soo gave life to the character of Jin Ho Lee, who is an interpool agent. While going after an international fugitive, he will meet Joey Delgado, the character played by Jillian Ward. Joey is a daughter of a police officer.
The actress shared that her character is always being belittled by Andrew Dizon, the character played by David Licauco, because she is a young, and a woman. These three characters will discover a big conspiracy.
The series also features Richard Yap, Raymart Santiago, Angelu de Leon, Ayen Laurel, Winwyn Marquez, and Analyn Barro. This is set to premiere on February 2, 8:55 p.m. on GMA Prime.
