JV Ejercito was teased with MJ Lastimosa
Senator JV Ejercito reacted to the rumor that he and former beauty queen MJ Lastimosa have a relationship.
The rumor linking the senator and the former beauty queen circulated back in June 2025. It was because of a social media post from a staff member of a spa and hotel in Bohol.
In the caption of the post, the staff member thanked both MJ and Sen. Ejercito for visiting their spa and hotel. With that, netizens somehow speculated about the real score between them.
Recently, Sen. JV Ejercito and MJ Lastimosa were both guests at the wedding of locos Norte Vice Governor Matthew Manotoc and Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell on Friday, January 16, 2026.

“Ang unang dumating, si JV ‘The Good One’ Ejercito. Ako rin, ‘The Good One,’ Pero kabsat, hindi ka pa rin nadadala. Always in trouble with beauty queens,” the female senator said.
Sen. Robin Padilla was able to capture a video of Sen. Imee’s statement and the reaction of Sen. JV Ejercito, who was sitting beside MJ Lastimosa.
The senator was laughing, while the former beauty queen was looking at her phone, then she lifted her head slightly to look at the person beside her.
With this, netizens speculated that there is something romantic between them. On January 18, the Senator was asked about his rumored relationship with MJ. He stressed that they were just both invited to the wedding.
“Nagkita lang doon, parehong imbitado sa kasal. Kaibigan ko po si Vice Governor Matthew Manotoc, habang si MJ ay kaibigan ng bride na si Jamie,” the senator said. He also said that it was not expected that sitting beside each other would bring intrigue to him and MJ.
