Just recently, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Monching Gutierrez shared an update on Eddie Gutierrez’s health status.

I know he is doing very well. He is well, doing much better. He has a little more treatment, may treatment pa siya kailangan gawin. But so far he is well,” the actor said.

Last year, their family went through a tough time, as they lost their loved ones. Medyo rough ang 2025 namin. But expecting great things for the whole family — my dad, the kids. Important talaga family. Through your ups and downs, your family will always be there,” the actor said.

Meanwhile, Monching is part of the new movie Breaking the Silence with Pinky Amador, Jeffrey Santos, Rob Sy, Pekto Nacua, Bugoy Cariño, Mark Herras, Shira Tweg, Potchi Angeles, Gray Weber, and Ryrie Sophia. The film, under Gummy Productions, tackled the sensitive topic of bullying and mental health. The production company aimed to bring this project to different schools.

Producer Ann Michelle Weber explained that being mean and rude hurts other people’s feelings. With this, she said that bullying should be stopped. The producer added, “It discussed depression, makikita ‘yung impact. Makikita din ano ba maitutulong ng support family and friends sa gantong situation.”
