Ogie is also known for being a showbiz insider, and sometimes, he would also share blind items on his YouTube showbiz talk show, Showbiz Update. Being part of the industry, Ogie sometimes would have first-hand information regarding what is happening behind the camera.
Because of the showbiz revelations that he had about celebrity breakups, he was tagged “Patron Saint ng mga Hiwalayan.” Because of his showbiz revelations and insights, netizens would tend to ask him about certain rumors or issues.
In a recent post on his Instagram Story, Ogie Diaz shared that netizens have been asking him about a blind item that has been catching the attention of the online community.
The blind item was posted by the Facebook page Inside The Metro. It is about a “power couple,” admired for their looks and successful in their respective fields. The blind item claimed that the couple looks perfect in front of the camera, but allegedly, their relationship is flawed.
The man is accused of being a womanizer, and that woman allegedly had been blindsided more times than she can count. Netizens had different guesses about the identity of the couple.
On Reddit, some of the guesses are Dingdong Dantes-Marian Rivera, Dennis Trillo-Jennylyn Mercado, Anne Curtis-Erwan Heussaff, Doug-Cheska Kramer, Toni Gonzaga-Paul Soriano, and Solenn Heussaff-Nico Bolzico.
Ogie Diaz shared, “Nagkakagulo sila sa isang blind item. Ang nakakalokah, ako naman ang tsina-challenge nila na i-unlock ang blind item kung sino ang power couple na ang alam ng madlang pipol ay solid ang relasyon, pero may problema naman pala sila ni mister.”
He also said that some celebrities had been calling him asking who the couple in the blind item was. “Kalokah! At eto na nga…,” the talent manager-vlogger teased.
