EDDIE GUTIERREZ – The Gutierrez family is calling for collective prayers as veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez undergoes his first spinal procedure in Singapore.
The Gutierrez family is reaching out to the public for prayers as veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez undergoes a major medical procedure in Singapore. Actress and former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez shared that her father is scheduled for his first spinal procedure, prompting the entire family to gather in support during this challenging time.
Ruffa posted a series of photos on Instagram showing Eddie at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, where he is set to receive treatment. In the images, Eddie is seen accompanied by his children and wife Annabelle Rama, offering a glimpse of their close-knit bond as they face this medical hurdle together.
According to Ruffa, Eddie will undergo the procedure under the care of Dr. Prem Pillay at the Neuro Spine & Pain Center. She expressed the family’s heartfelt call for prayers through a message written on behalf of the Gutierrez clan:
“Please join us in prayer as our dad, Eddie Gutierrez, undergoes his first spinal procedure today in Singapore with Dr. Prem Pillay at the Neuro Spine & Pain Center, Mount Elizabeth Hospital,” Ruffa wrote.
She also added their hopes for a smooth and successful operation, saying they are praying that everything aligns with God’s plan.
“We humbly ask for prayers for a successful procedure, steady hands for the doctors, and complete healing for our dad. May everything go smoothly and unfold according to His perfect will.”
Ruffa likewise expressed deep gratitude to everyone who has been extending love and support during this time.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has been praying, supporting, and standing with us through this difficult journey. Your prayers, generosity, and kindness mean more to us than words can express. We truly feel your love.”
She also made sure to acknowledge the Filipino nurses caring for Eddie in Singapore, saying,
“To all the Filipino nurses who are helping us here and taking such good care of our dad—maraming salamat po. Mabuhay kayong lahat!”
The family concluded their message with words of encouragement for others facing struggles:
