Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas brought great joy to social media after posting a compilation of wedding videos on Instagram, in which all the grooms were in tears as the bride approached the altar.
Traditional weddings would have that moment in which the bride would walk towards her groom, who is waiting for her at the altar area, or where the officiating person would be.
It is known to many that Ai-Ai had a wonderful wedding with his estranged husband, Gerald Sibayan. However, their relationship as a married couple only lasted for 10 years. Their breakup was quite controversial as the comedienne shared that Gerald broke up with her through a text message while she was in the Philippines and he was in the US.
In a recent IG post, Ai-Ai delas Alas recalled what happened at their wedding. She said that seeing grooms who cried on their wedding day while watching their brides walk the aisle to the altar makes her smile.
The next thing she wrote in the caption was quite intriguing. “P.I kaya pala yung saken dati hindi ganito reaction hahahahahha dapat pala ganito,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
Although she didn’t directly name him, it was clear that she was referring to estranged husband Gerald Sibayan. Her friend, actress Amy Austria, commented, “Cute cute mo friend.”
Ai-Ai replied to this with, “Hahaha kasi friend yung 2nd sobra yung 3rd wala hahaha ano bayan.” The comedienne apparently was referring to her ex-husband, Jed Salang, as the second one. They tied the knot on April 3, 2013, and it was said that Jed cried. Ai-Ai’s third marriage was with Gerald in 2017, while her first husband was singer Miguel Vera. They separated in 1996.
