Harry Roque Defies Marcos Admin: Chooses Duterte Loyalty While Facing International Arrest Request
HARRY ROQUE – Amid reports of an impending Interpol red notice, Harry Roque delivered a powerful message of loyalty to Duterte, igniting renewed discussions about political allegiance and accountability.
Former Presidential Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque continues to stand by former President Rodrigo Duterte despite growing legal challenges in the Philippines and the potential issuance of a red notice from the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
Roque has openly expressed his deep respect for Duterte, whom he regards as the nation’s greatest leader. His strong statements come as reports surface that the Philippine government has officially requested Interpol to release a red notice—an international alert similar to an arrest warrant—against him. Roque currently remains in the Netherlands, where he maintains his support for Duterte, who is presently in detention at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Harry Roque is one of the individuals charged by the Pampanga Regional Trial Court last May in relation to alleged qualified human trafficking activities connected to the POGO scam hub Lucky South 99 in Porac, Pampanga. Roque was charged along with Cassandra Ong and 48 other respondents.
Through a post on his Facebook account, Roque criticized the Marcos administration for targeting him, claiming that his unwavering loyalty to Duterte drives this action. “Alam nila (Dutch government) kung bakit ako hinahabol ng gobyerno. Dahil alam nila ako talaga’y naging tapat kay [dating] Presidente Rodrigo Roa Duterte,” he stated.
Roque also stressed that he does not regret his loyalty to Duterte, declaring, “Hindi po ako nagsisisi hanggang aking kamatayan.

I will not apologize for it, I will not regret it!”
At present, Roque is applying for asylum in the Netherlands while awaiting developments in his case involving alleged human trafficking linked to Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).
