Sexbomb Girls Recall the Shocking Moment They Defended Themselves From a Manyak Fan
SEXBOMB GIRLS – In a shocking revelation, the Sexbomb Girls looked back on the disturbing moments when they had to physically fight off aggressive fans.
The legendary Sexbomb Girls experienced several incidents of harassment during the height of their popularity, as shared by members Aira Bermudez and Jopay Paguia. At the peak of their career, the group often dealt with inappropriate conduct from male fans who became overly aggressive during their shows.
During an appearance on the Kapuso vodcast Your Honor, Jopay and Aira recounted how they navigated these troubling situations, particularly during live events when audiences were difficult to control. Aira noted, “Ay, oo marami kaming kuwento diyan,” highlighting the numerous uncomfortable encounters they endured with fans attempting to grope them.

Jopay also recalled with laughter, “Oo, nanapak kami!” indicating that they had to physically fend off harassers at times. To avoid such incidents, the group constantly reminded one another to stay vigilant. Jopay mentioned that they regularly advised members to shield vulnerable areas of their bodies with their hands to avoid being touched by predatory fans.
Even with these precautions, there were still individuals who managed to cross boundaries. Jopay revisited an incident during a campaign event and said, “Naalala ko noon, paakyat kami, kasi sa mga campaign ito. So, may bus kami doon, buong Sexbomb.” With fans surrounding them closely, they always walked with their hands positioned protectively: “O, girls, kapag naglakad kayo, kamay sa harap (sa dibdib), ito (kaliwang kamay) sa baba (maselang bahagi ng katawan). Ganu’n. Nakaganiyan kami lagi,” she said.
The incident took a turn when one member returned to the bus in tears after a man in the crowd touched her inappropriately. She identified the offender, leading Jopay to instruct, “Pakiakyat.” Jopay continued, “Pagdating sa loob eh, ‘Bang!’ Talagang ginulpi namin sa loob. Sorry. Alam mo ‘yun.” Aira supported this story, adding, “Hindi lang na may isang beses nangyari. Talagang ‘pag may umulit, hahablutin talaga namin.”

Another alarming encounter happened during a provincial show where constant power outages kept interrupting their performance. As they attempted to exit the venue, they suddenly heard their members shouting, “No, no, no!” When the lights came back on, they saw an intoxicated older man grabbing one of the girls. “Pagtingin namin tapos may ilaw na, hawak siya ng matandang lasing,” Jopay said. The group once more acted in self-defense and confronted the man. As Aira explained, “Minsan kasi nagiging wild talaga sila.”
Through these accounts, the Sexbomb Girls revealed the real dangers performers can face and the resilience they needed to protect themselves both onstage and behind the scenes.
