Piolo Pascual highlights the value that people can get from his new movie
Kapamilya A-list actor Piolo Pascual said that his movie Meet, Greet, and Bye is a reflection of what it means to be a family.
Piolo has done remarkable acting projects over the years that helped establish his name in showbiz as one of the prominent actors of his generation.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, the actor talked about his new movie with a star-studded cast, including Diamond Star Maricel Soriano, New Gen Ultimate Leading Man Joshua Garcia, singer-songwriter Juan Karlos Labajo, and New Gen Phenomenal Star Belle Mariano.
The movie featured the journey of the Facundo family (Da Facs), and Piolo Pascaul portrays the oldest of the Facundo siblings. He said that this movie is a gift for every family, and he praised Star Cinema for being the “best” in producing family movies.
The actor said it was overwhelming to receive support from the audience, which meant that they had imparted something to them.
Talking about his fellow cast members, Piolo highlighted that this is the beauty of cinema. They would just know who their co-stars are when they start filming.
He also shared that working with their director, Cathy Garcia-Sampana, he would always be on his toes, and this has been the scenario even before. The actor said that his role was actually good because it gave him a sense of excitement, as well as the fear of the unknown, where the story and his character would go.
His character Tupe, Piolo said, is the one he admired most among his characters, and it is because of his sense of independence and readiness to face challenges, and willingness to forgive those who hurt him.
Piolo Pascual said that he really studied his character. “Inaaral talaga siya… You can’t intellectualize it as much, but you have to understand the conflict or the journey of the character as it goes along,” the A-list actor said.
